Mighty Bear

A poem I wrote entitled "Mighty Bear"...

Great creature of the wild
So fearless so free
A born survivor
Letting nothing get in his way
Feared by some
Yet peaceful and at ease
When undisturbed and stomach content

Curious of the unknown
Will take the risk
Up for any challenge
That comes his way
Will fight for his right
In search of something sweet
Quietly retreating after victorious defeat

Behind the brave front
Lies a gentle giant
With dreams and a big heart
Playful by nature
Cuddly by night
So clever so tame
Protective and endearing

Roaming through life
Doing what he will
Leaving his mark
Impacting lives
Wherever he goes
Captivating the world
By his courage and might
